August 1: The official beginning of the school year.
September 1: The first day of Semester 1.
September: Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 28 in Taiwan, the birthdate of Confucius, who is considered to be a model master educator. We hold a series of activities each September to recognize the contributions of all our teachers.
November: School Anniversary Celebration – we hold a range of events and activities on a Saturday in November to commemorate the founding of the school.
December: The school holds religious events throughout December to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
We begin this happy season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the first week of December that brings everyone together to celebrate the Christmas spirit.
December 25: The entire school has a day off to celebrate Christmas Day.
December: School Sports Day
We hold our annual school sports day for all our daytime program students on a Saturday in December.
January: Semester 1 ends in the middle of January or late January, and the winter vacation begins. This is usually about three weeks long and it includes the Chinese New Year period.
February: Semester 2 usually begins in the middle of February.
April: Easter Egg Hunt
As well as observing Easter’s religious significance, the school organizes an Easter Egg Hunt for the students to enjoy. We have very many students, so they hunt for hidden pieces of paper which they can then exchange for an Easter egg.
June: The Grade 12 students’ graduation ceremony is held in the first week of June.
June 30: The last day of Semester 2. This is the end of the school year and the beginning of the summer vacation.
July: Grade 7 and Grade 10 students report to school in the third week of July.
